According to the Daily News , Madonna was overheard saying she hoped to “bring gay to the Super Bowl,” and that’s exactly what the Queen of Pop did. A-list couple Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka showed their pigskin pride this weekend in Indianapolis. “I know nothing about football,” Neil told me on the blue carpet of the Celebrity Beach Bowl, admitting he was in town to see Madonna

Maria Menounos proved she was a dedicated New England Patriots fan by freezing her butt off in Times Square this morning. The diehard football fan bet fellow “Extra” correspondent and New York Giants fan AJ Calloway, that she would strip down to a tiny bikini in Times Square if the Patriots lost the Super Bowl. Needless to say, Menounos must have been thankful that New York is having one of its warmest winters.

This week’s Relevancy Poll is the first time in its two-season existence that it hasn’t been a ranking of 14 ” Saturday Night Live ” players. From an outsider’s perspective, the loss of Paul Brittain may not seem that remarkable, considering that — even though he had his fans (ahem) — he wasn’t exactly dominating airtime on the show. Regardless, “SNL” was and is crowded and needed to lose some numbers — I was hoping it would be in the form of a longtime cast member going on to bigger and better things, but alas …

If you turned off your TV right after the big game Sunday night, you probably missed the Jimmy Fallon Super Bowl Special he did live from Indianapolis, which means you have no idea he did an Adele cover. That’s right. He took “Rolling in the Deep” and changed the words to “Please Don’t Go to Sleep” in an effort to lure you out of your guacamole coma for just a few more minutes

At first glance the New York Football Giants share very little with the fictional team in Dillon, Texas. However, after rewatching the first season this past week, it dawned on me that this year’s Giants team is shockingly similar to the Dillon Panthers/Lions. Allow me to recast Friday Night Lights with the players on the Giants: Eli Manning as Matt Saracen The goofy facial expressions, the “aw shucks” expressions, the easy-going personality, Matt Saracen is Eli Manning! Eli Manning is Matt Saracen! Both have led their team to a championship when everyone has counted them out.
