Saturday, February 4th, 2012 |

Angelica Huston’s black bob swings back and forth, keeping time with the click of her heels on the sidewalk. As the Oscar-winning actress passes, she throws us a warm but impish smile and then fades into the nighttime air. Her departure cheers the crowd, which has been waiting in the cold and will finally be called to fill the ground floor of VBH Luxury on New York’s Upper East Side

Nora Zelevansky: ‘Project Runway All Stars’ Recap: A ‘Muse’ Bouche

Friday, February 3rd, 2012 |

Note: Do not read on if you have not seen Episode 5 of Lifetime’s “Project Runway All Stars.” This week’s ” Project Runway All Stars ” opens with one of my favorite reality show conceits: The host pretends that she planned the challenge! “Welcome to Central Park,” says Angela Lindvall. “I thought it would be nice for you to get out of the house, get some fresh air and sunshine.” And by that she means, “The producers made us come out to this stupid, hot park in the middle of summer. Is anyone else sweating profusely?” The designers must each approach total strangers, isolate a muse and also, (in what they keep calling an “‘All Stars’ Twist!”) collect clothing off the backs of anyone who will give it up.

Susan Lucci Gives Bad Advice To The ‘Cleveland’ Women

Thursday, February 2nd, 2012 |

Susan Lucci returned to ” Hot In Cleveland ” ( Wed., 10PM on TV Land) playing Victoria Chase’s soap opera arch-rival. Now that “All My Children” has gone off the air, Lucci was seeking careers advice from Victoria who is, of course, still reeling from the cancellation of her own long-running soap, “Edge Of Tomorrow.” In an effort to get into Victoria’s good books Lucci offered some helpful hints to the other women, but her tips had disastrous consequences. Melanie was quick to take the soap diva’s special weight-loss supplement, only to discover it was really a tapeworm.
